Cool, for the lack of a better word, is derogatory

Wouldn't know how to start on topics like this. Often, its the 'start' that earns you the crown in a conversation or a relationship or an engagement of some kind or even enmity. So does this make the other party(ies) to the deal, meek? Meek enough,to have you emulate a totally different demeanor, just because you let somebody else initiate ?

Initiative and mass appeal are the arms of the word 'Cool'. So,if there's a mob, then there is the word'cool'. Well, but then mobs are meant to be crazy.

What really gives one the right to deem a person 'cool' or be deemed so? What if you ain't seen anybody better? And what if the 'better' entity has some other 'better' look up to? You're in a fix now, aren't you?

Well, you are never too abstract for this world and neither are you that conventional. Let's just fuckin' respect that.

So much for the rant. Good morning.

Subdivisions
In the high school halls
In the shopping malls
Conform or be cast out
Subdivisions
In the basement bars
In the backs of cars
Be cool or be cast out
Any escape might help to smooth the unattractive truth
But the suburbs have no charms to soothe the restless dreams of youth
