The rush

Every life needs a particular rush to move along. An adrenalin rush.

The source could be your work, your fitness regime, your girlfriend, your philanthropy - anything. It should challenge you every living moment, pushing you ahead, to the next minute, to the next day....

And on any given day or for a string of few days or weeks, if you manage to stay away from this challenge, it starts affecting you subconsciously. You feel thrown off your regular course of activities. You might turn cranky or less interested in your daily activities. Your whole outlook towards witnesses a paradigm shift.

Conflict of emotions is indispensable to human life. Every emotion has its purpose of existence. This clash is necessary for every person to realize the roller-coaster ride that lies ahead.

But,most of all, the rush gives you a sense of existence - the reason that extends the meaning of life beyond mere survival.

Clearing the clouds

Many people might have come across this fact; this is also a personal account.
A confounded mind is the worst enemy. It makes you wanna do things of a nature that Joker would love to see Batman do.

It starts with a vile thought and soon a forest fire attracts your attention. Like a naive villager, you would either try dousing the fire by throwing minute quantities of water on it,pail after pail, or you turn atheist and start blaming God for causing wrath.

Either which way, the fire continues to damage things around you.

The only way here to save lives, ( or maybe just a life) is to control your impulsive feelings and gather all your thoughts. This is the stage where success follows abandonment of fear. And abandonment of fear is the bravest yet what would seem as - next to impossible - thing to do.

Fear might constitute several things - the feeling of not being able to make it through, the feeling of lack taking the initiative, the feeling of fatal selfishness; it could be anything that burns the bridges between you and the solution.

Your efforts eventually pay off, maybe a minute later or a day later or a year later. However, the conclusion sure does seem to transform you into a different person altogether.

Sometimes, clouds with silver linings are better than clear skies.
